FAQs

We operate on an appointment basis to ensure our patients receive the time and care they need. However, if you have an emergency, your pet will be seen as a priority and we strive to provide service in these situations as promptly as possible.

You may also schedule a “day admission” appointment, in which you may bring your pet to the clinic in the morning and he/she will have medical services completed throughout the day. It is essential that you complete a current client registration sheet and an additional health history form with at least one current phone number so your doctor can communicate with you during the day.

To promote the health of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations are current for both day admission and hospitalized patients. If you are unsure of your pets vaccination status please ask us to check or update records.

Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, your companion animal may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. We do ask you to restrain your pet at all times during your visit to the clinic.

We require payment at the time that services and/or medications are provided to you. We accept all major credit cards, cash, and personal check with appropriate identification.

We offer CareCredit to help our clients cope financially with unexpected medical situations. You can apply through our office or online at www.carecredit.com prior to your arrival. If you apply online, please print and bring a copy of your confirmation with you along with two forms of identification.

Pet insurance works a little differently than human insurance. Once you pick your pet’s insurance carrier, they send you forms to use for reimbursement. You cover the cost of treatments up-front, send in the form, and are reimbursed by the pet insurance company. We are happy to complete reimbursement forms to your veterinary pet insurance company but you are responsible for all communications with the insurance company unless specific requests are made to us by the company.
